Today I still felt the need to make an abstract painting. I used the same juxtaposition of freedom and geometry, but I used different colors.
I also decided it was time to announce something mega exciting I’ve been cooking up: On September 8th, on the anniversary of the Great Storm of 1900, for the official release of Storms of Malhado I will actually be having a book signing – in person! With masks and sanitizer, of course, and with a wide enough window of time where there won’t be a crowd. The book signing will take place at Feliz Interiors (where my carousel horse paintings are!), at 1305 Voss Road, from 2-6pm on September 8th. Of course I’m nervous, but I’m also so very excited!
