What better way to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Storms of Malhado than by painting a series of abstract seascapes showing an angry ocean? It’s a good way to tie in the book birthday with my closing reception for my solo show tomorrow. And I always like to have something new to show for such an occasion. 🌊🌊🌊
Also, it was good coming home. I feel reinvigorated after my little Island vacation. It was foggy this morning, salty and beautiful. I didn’t really want to leave. But once I got back, the art supplies I ordered before leaving were waiting on my porch, Nancy was happy to be walked, and the gallery was waiting for me too, all ready for tomorrow’s closing reception.
