On the last day of the year, I walked 12,000 steps, made art with my friend, ate grapes but also a few bites of prime rib, reached out to some of my favorite people, and went to bed early with my small elderly dog on my new flowered sheets I ordered just for this occasion. It was warm and sunny outside. It was a very good day.
