This morning I did another tiny painting in my zodiac series. I love how ethereal Pisces turned out. Then I put a onesie on my shivering little dog. I bought the onesie at the resale shop, washed it, and frankly, I think it’s just what she needs. It’s 100% cotton, which was important to me. I also got her jacket to layer on on extra cold days. Also cotton. I’m very pleased with these garments.
With the dog properly bundled up, I left for Houston. I found some of my liquid watercolors and sat and painted the view of the pool in winter. I tried to apply some of the things I learned during the art contest last week – though my main takeaway is that I need to paint more watercolors and focus on capturing the atmosphere, which is something I really like to do.
