In which I finally try the Princess cake at Sant Ambroeus, and it’s good, but not the best thing I’ve tasted so far on this NYC trip. That honor is reserved to the cardamom bun at La Cabra, which is simply divine. Other surprises are easy to find too: everything from big Labubus to art that’s exciting and inspiring (below are pictures of work by Riz Riz Rizz at Space Gallery in Soho) to just random fun stuff.
Also, my friend is in town for Climate Week. I’m trying to get her to have drinks with me at the hotel where Anna Delvey stayed.
Oh, and I did paint today, just sitting at the window in the room at sunset.
