Today was St. Patrick’s Day and I got to thinking about snakes. Poor snakes! I wonder how they feel about people celebrating the fact that St. Patrick drove them out of Ireland. As if snakes didn’t already have enough trouble, what with the story of Adam and Eve casting them as the bad guy. I think it must be difficult to be a snake, and that’s probably why they hide.
