Today I taught a watercolor class to a very talented child. It was truly a wonderful experience! I painted a little raccoon while she painted a very good portrait of her dog. I like to paint while my watercolor students paint because it creates a more relaxing atmosphere where we can talk casually about the painting process while working side by side.
In the afternoon, my friends and I went to Art Crawl at Hardy and Nance studios. I used to have a studio there, so it was interesting to see the building again and some of the people who are still there. Claire Richards has since adopted a huge dog. I like him very much.
