This month marks the two-year anniversary of Lola Is Never Drinking Again, and some of my readers asked me to have a celebration. How wonderful is that? I’m a bit behind in planning, so it will be pushed to the beginning of May, but I’m definitely getting excited about it.
I think of Lola every time I see pelicans flying above, and these days we’re lucky enough to see them a lot. Did you know that in the 80s there were no pelicans on Galveston Island? That must have been so sad.
My jasmine is still blooming and very very fragrant. I started doing a little gardening in my backyard, and it just plain wore me out. Still, maybe I should do a little every day. Speaking of the back yard, I have an idea. I want a frog pond! I think I can create one. I’ve been doing research.
