I’ve been having this irrepressible urge to go thrifing and get some fun colorful stuff. Today I gave in. I went to my favorite resale shop (ok, it’s a Goodwill 😜) and got two large bags of stuff. I brought it all home, threw it all in the washer and now I’m waiting for things to air dry so I can try them on. The first thing that dried was the top above. I think it’s pretty cute and I can play with it in many different ways.
I told my friend about this little adventure, and she said, “That’s very Lola.” She just finished listening to the Lola Is Never Drinking Again audiobook, and said she enjoyed it. Which made me very happy, and also reminded me that Lola’s anniversary is coming up and that I should celebrate it in a big way like I did Horse Day.
To go with the whole Lola theme, today I painted a pelican.
