Breakaway Bridesmaid is a novel about a Galveston wedding where one of the bridesmaids disappears. The rest of the wedding party are left to deal with the fallout from this event. Should they go look for her? Should they carry out with the wedding as planned? Told from the perspective of the bride and four of her bridesmaids (not the missing one, though), the book starts out as a mystery but actually is an in-depth exploration of female friendships.
