But Are there Cats?

If you’ve been following me for a while you probably know about the cats. There are always cats living in our yard or at least visiting us frequently here at the old lizard’s house – cats we feed and care for as best we can considering they are freely roaming felines and as such retain the privilege to come and go as they please and the unalienable right not to ever go to the vet. My aunt tried this latter course of action last year and the consequences were dire. Clearly the cat gods punish such violations of feline sovereignty harshly.

But we do enjoy our visitors and today I got to meet one of this year’s feline superstars, a white and orange juvenile cat my aunts have grown extremely fond of.

Obviously I had to draw its portrait. I love drawing small ink portraits of animals and feel like these capture their spirit really well. So please let me know if you’d like me to do one of one of your beloved pets. This summer I have a special offer going on: 6×6 inch ink drawings of animals for $50 each. How about it? I promise you you’ll love it and treasure it forever.
