A Good Day for Margo

It’s Day 1 of the big promotion for Magic Lessons for Margo, and it’s definitely exceeded my expectations. I haven’t done this kind of promotion in years. It’s a promotion where the ebook is offered for free on Amazon (so, yes, the kindle version is free now for a limited time, if you want to grab it!). I’m ambivalent about books being free, and for this kind of thing to really have an impact, one needs a lot of downloads. I was skeptical about how many people would download Margo, as this book requires a certain kind of reader, one who is both sensitive and mischievous, kind of like the girls in the story. Anyway, things are working out better than I had expected. So far, over 1,000 people have downloaded the book, and it’s done great things for its Amazon rankings.

And to make the day even better, The Adventures of Miss Vulpe got its 100th review. Check it out below!

The gallery dog, wearing her little bow tie, is not impressed with any of this. But the weather’s been very nice and I made sure she got extra long walkies. So I hope that, despite her put off little face, she had a good day too.
