After my eventful weekend, I really felt like taking it easy today. I mostly read, and I got Szechuan food for lunch to go with The Fox Wife, a book I’m still enjoying immensely.
There was this nice moment outside the Szechuan restaurant where I lay on a wooden bench in the sun and looked at the sky, that was probably my favorite moment today.
Tomorrow I will hopefully be more productive. But sometimes a girl needs a day of rest.
Tomorrow a big promotion starts for Magic Lessons for Margo. A paid promotion different from the stuff I usually do. I’m excited about it, but also a bit nervous, hesitant to have too high expectations.
I’m also hosting a small book release event at the gallery for a few readers later this week. It’s a small strategically curated event meant only for a small group of people who are actually interested in the book. I’m hoping this will be nice and help generate more excitement for it. We’ll see.
