In which I’m jet lagged but having a great time, eating all the pastries, riding the Metro, and carefully scouring historical sights for sightings of horses. There are lots of horse statues in Paris, including a very beautiful gilded one of Joan of Arc across from the Louvre, so obviously I am satisfied. What you might not have known is that there are English Pointers sculpted into the beautiful facades of the Louvre. Pointers! Pointers in Paris!
Also, my hotel room is a bit like one I imagined for one of my favorite scenes in Magic Lessons for Margo and that makes me really happy.
