I spent a happy portion of my morning with my manuscript. I also did some doodling. The drawing above is of a tarot card – The Empress. My editor suggested I incorporate more tarot readings into the story, and I started wondering about what card would be most suitable to Suzanne. I think the Empress because it’s connected to creativity.
Also, I spent a lot of time thinking of the Durga Ma statue I saw at Dr. Carolyn Farb’s house yesterday. Such a powerful piece of art, and so beautiful!
