My last show in the Year of the Rat had to include a painting of a rat! Especially since, for all its weirdness, the year of the rat has been generous: I have a new book almost ready to publish and this book will be a total game changer for me. My Kickstarter campaign is so very close to being funded! And this means that this book will not start off with a negative balance, with me footing the bill for expensive services, such as editing and advertising, to make it come to life. With a book that finances itself through the generosity of my backers, I will finally have achieved that elusive dream for writers of actually making money writing. So I’m pretty excited about that, and quite thankful too.
