Today was a day of anxiously waiting for my proof copy of The Glory Days of Aimée Bonnard to be delivered. I was meant to get a few other lovely things first: Charvin paints in my favorite colors (Alexander Blue and Warm Gray) to work on the water lilies, a beautiful pink orchid as a housewarming gift, and then finally, in the evening, my proof copy. It’s finally here and I love it so much! There are a few small errors I needed to fix, but I’m now confident the book will be ready to meet its readers by the Winter Solstice. I’m so excited!!!
Also, I gave myself very cute new haircut. What do y’all think?
