Today John and I had breakfast at Common Bond on 19th Street. Several things were lovely about this, and not just the pastries. This was our first breakfast out since the pandemic, in fact it was my first meal inside a restaurant since March 2021. I walked to Common Bond, which was really nice. Also, I brought a giraffe. Giraffes love breakfast.
