Today the magnolia blossom my friends gave me opened up and I took that as a sign that I should paint another magnolia. This one is smaller and different. It has layers of gold and it shines.
In the evening John and I went to do a very special install for a collector he’s been friends with for many years. I got a tour of his art. There was even a carousel horse!
Tomorrow I have to finalize some of my plans for the Speakeasy party. I’m getting some food catered that reflects the time period, and it’s been kind of fun coming up with the menu.
