Today I met one of my top collectors, who is also a good friend, in Galveston so we could explore together for her Galveston Experience commission. The topic she chose is one of my favorites: food and wine. We started off at Maceo’s, visited some favorite shops and galleries downtown, then had a lovely lunch with wine at Trattoria La Vigna. It put us both in a really good mood, reminded us how lovely our lives are, especially now that the pandemic is nearly over.
Afterwards, I took a long walk on the beach with my island musician friend. We met a horse named Rusty. I touched its muzzle. It was very soft.
