I never tire of painting seascapes.
The weather obliged. I was able to drive down to the Island where my friend treated me to a decadent birthday lunch at Katie’s Seafood House. The grouper was fresh off the boat, and we shared our fries with some very vocal seagulls. My spirit bird too came and partook of the feast. Its feathers were black and shiny,
Afterwards we walked around downtown, and when we were certain it wasn’t going to rain, made our way to the beach. The water was choppy and the air was exceptionally salty. It was a very good day.
