I did it! Today I tacked a piece of raw linen onto a furrier’s board and painted a large abstract piece outside at the Castle. My aunt who claims to have no opinions on art, and to not quite get abstract, watched me and gave me indications. “Paint over that black spot, go over it some more.” It turns out she does have a bunch of opinions after all.
