Pineapple

Today I worked some more on painting the edges of the BCN Tiles and on glazing them. I think I have about half of them done, which is exciting because I can’t wait to see them on the walls. But in between all this work on the big art installation, I had to take a break and paint a watercolor. I felt like I really needed it, needed to focus on light and shadows and details. Also, I had a pineapple that was really pretty and I couldn’t bear to cut it without painting it first.

Other existing developments: Someone fabulous and witchy who loved Storms of Malhado signed up to take my walking tour in Galveston on Halloween. This will be a lot of fun for sure!

I have a feeling other good things happened today, though mostly really it was a good day in a peaceful quiet kind of way, which was just what I needed.
