Olives

It’s official. My favorite thing to do here in Malaga is to have a long lunch on the rooftop terrace. It’s warm there in the early afternoon, warm and bright, shorts weather, for only a few hours on the rooftop. Today I rediscovered a Moroccan pastry with chicken, almonds, and saffron that I really love. I also ate plenty of olives. I spent about two hours on the rooftop terrace in the sun, and it was nice. In the evening I walked a lot, saw a beach on the other side of the port at sunset. In the morning I saw a Sorolla exhibit. I love the light in his paintings, and the way he painted the sea. I’m not sure I will find galleries here for my art, but I will most definitely find inspiration.
