
In which I get ready to come home, which includes bubble-wrapping Cinderella, getting a negative Covid test, splurging on an outrageous upgrade to first class because I want to be chauffeured to the plane in Paris (and the bubble wrapped Cinderella deserves no less), and totally by accident happening upon the perfect shoes: They’re handmade Moroccan slippers, and they feel like a hug made of soft leather. They were inexpensive and sold by the most delightful people. Naturally, I bought 3 pairs!
Saying goodbye to the kind and competent staff of the hotel was bittersweet. They’ve taken such good care of me, and it was touching to see that they were sad to see me go. Perhaps I will come back. Hopefully soon.
