Rabbit!

Continuing the exploration of water soluble oils. A great big tube of white arrived today, so I’m set to play for a while. This little rabbit was painted on paper made for oils which I bought a while ago but didn’t get around to trying until today.

Still tinkering with the hardcover design of Galveston 1922. I did order proof copies, so here’s hoping! Also, the ebook is set to release on the 15th of this month (like, 3 days from now!) and it’s gotten a good number of pre-orders.

I also have a few new ideas for showcasing my paintings. I want to do some special features on some of them every month, and though January is half gone, I still intend to start this now.

Seascape #1 is a 36×36 inch acrylic on wood painting painted in 2021 as part of an abstract seascape series. It is featured in the catalog of Fira Internacional d’Art de Barcelona 2021. The current retail value of this painting is $2,000. This painting is one of my featured paintings for the month of January 2022. Stay tuned to find out more about its inspiration, the process of creating it, and a few other secrets.
