Here’s the first in a series of paintings inspired by Fashion Week. It’s a mix of acrylic and oil on wood, and I’m about to explore this combination in the rest of the series.
Today was finally sunny and pretty and I actually went somewhere. I sat outside with a friend at a neighborhood bar enjoying a long boozy lunch and it felt really good, though for the rest of the day I didn’t feel like doing much. Still, even on a slow day I come up with a lot of stuff. I’m going to start working on this year’s Mardi Gras surprise boxes soon. And Penelope is planning a party for her carousel horse friends. I promise there will be pictures of all the horses reunited. There are 5 in total!
