Birds Are Magic

Tonight I saw the owl in my neighborhood again. I hadn’t seen it in a long time and had been worried about it. But it flew right in front of me tonight then perched on a branch hiding behind dark leaves. I could still sort of see it. Owls have a distinctive way of flying. It’s graceful, the tips of their wings lifted up, the motion swift like a butterfly’s.

My day was complex yet good. I had the oil changed in my car and also got my new inspection sticker. I drove all way across town to do this because I have a guy there I trust. Then I bought groceries, wrote a little, and tied up a few loose ends, even tackled a few things that were giving me anxiety. I am definitely ready for the Summer Solstice tomorrow!

Also, how cute is this little dog reading my English Pointer booklets?
