You can’t really see it, but the body of this giraffe painting still in progress is actually gold, the kind of gold I usually reserve to backgrounds. As usual, I’m obsessed with giraffes, and look what my favorite redhead sent me as a Christmas gift: a giraffe pattern sweater! Isn’t it cool?
The past few days have been really full. Lots of people have been coming to see me, and that’s a great thing. Also, I’ve been writing. I figured out what was missing from my upcoming novel, Lola is Never Drinking Again, and adding it in is way more fun than I would have thought. I’m really really excited about this one!
