Distressed Layers Revisited

Last night I had a weird dream. In it I was buying a cabin in Maine and someone from my past was crying real tears over me leaving Texas. In the dream, this person’s grief affected me. In the light of day I googled real estate in Maine. Some cabins are refreshingly inexpensive, but they’re close to the border with Canada and it’s probably colder than in Binghamton up there.

Anyway, I was in the mood to revisit my Distressed Layers technique and make some abstract paintings, so this is what I did.

No danger of me moving to Maine anytime in the near future. Instead I do want to continue exploring the bayou.
