
Happy Imbolc! I think we’re in for an early spring. The weather has been lovely, which always puts me in an excellent mood, and I’ve been working on a new series of botanical paintings. It’s my way of trying to manifest springtime, and I think it’s working. I’ve been feeling inspired and things recently have seemed easy – or rather I’ve let go of pushing on some of the things that tend to be hard.






Also, I have a new food obsession (a North Indian dish called Chole Bhature), a new writer friend who wrote a beautiful novel set in Houston (see below), and a trip to Crystal Beach to eat oysters at Stingaree and deliver books to The Big Store on the horizon. I’d say things are definitely looking up.
