Signing Books at Hendley Market

It was hot on the Island today, hot and sweaty! Summer is already here, and I don’t mind one bit. My friend and I had gumbo and fresh bycatch at Katie’s Seafood Market. We looked out over the stormy bay but the storm failed to materialize. We talked about Miss Vulpe Book 3 and some of the more controversial bits. Are they controversial? Here’s hoping!

Then we stopped by Hendley Market, my favorite shop on the Strand, and I dropped off some of my books and signed them. I love that they sell my books! Who would have thought 10 years or so ago, when I used to walk there just to look around and maybe treat myself to a scrumptious miniature bar of French soap that one day I would write four novels set in Galveston and Hendley Market would sell them for me?

  1. So nice that they sell your books! Hendley Market was always my fave Strand store and it’s nice to know they’re still going strong.
