It seems only fitting that on the lonest day of the year we traveled to the end of the world to celebrate the launch of a novel about the fallout from an event the main character likes to refer to as the end of the world. Also, we ate a delicacy from the sea that looks like the paws and claws of some monster, but which simply tastes divine.
