Last week my friends and I visited an Indian temple. It was beautiful! Arranged in stunning dioramas, the deities shone, wearing bright silk clothing. On the side, peacefully, sat two lovely figures representing the holy cow, Nandini. The cows were so beautiful, I wanted to take a picture. Of course, I didn’t, as I don’t think it’s what people are meant to do in temples and such. But later, I found the temple’s Facebook page. They post pictures of the altar daily, but the Nandini figures are never center stage, they just sit peacefully on the side, and you can’t actually even see their whole body in the pictures. But that’s not going to stop me from painting them, is it? I started on this today. I’m having fun with it so far.
It’s a New Moon and I had a good day. A friend came by to talk books, travel, elderly pets, etc and bought all 3 of the Miss Vulpe books, including the very first copy of Ana Martinez Has No Shame ever to be printed. That made my day!

There are some new gold background paintings in the gallery. They’re small, but I decided to treat them as tiny treasures and start pricing them accordingly.
