The Big Store in Crystal Beach sells just about everything. And as of last year it’s been selling my Galveston novels. It’s a great place for them, as they make good beach reads.
So, about 6 months or so I like to take a trip to Crystal Beach, restock their book supplies and sign every copy. It’s a bit of a trek, but there are ways to make it fun. I discovered it’s more enjoyable to go there via ferry from Galveston – even if it takes longer. Also, it’s nice if my friend comes with me and if we stop at Stingaree for lunch. Today the weather was cooler, so we even snuck in a beach walk.
