Today I took my car for an oil change, then I had a quick lunch and headed for Galveston. On my way I stopped in Frienswood to pick up a giant pile of magazines that a lady from a local Buy Nothing group kindly gave me for my upcoming collage workshop. I hope this will add an additional layer of positive energy to our manifesting – that the magazines were offered generously by a kind stranger. Throughout the day, there were a few other occasions when I was lucky and strangers were kind. For example, my friend and I found a table in the street. It’s a nice solid wood table (with one hole, but who’s looking?) but way too heavy for us to carry. A nice man with a truck ended up helping us and now I have a table!
Also, I have started making the paper maché snakes that will go into this year’s Mardi Gras Surprise Boxes. My goal for today was to make a snake, but I ended up making 3. Only 7 more to go, but who’s counting? Of course, now they have to dry so I can paint and glaze them. Once they’re shiny and colorful, I think they’ll be cute!
