Today we returned to the Island. We found the little house in good condition. Our guests left it nice and tidy, and there was some evidence that they did cute things I definitely want them to do to be comfortable while here: they found the extra blanket tucked away in the closet, and they made themselves coffee and drank it out of the seahorse cups. That made me happy!
The painting is from a picture I took around this time last year from the ferry when I was taking books to the Big Store in Crystal Beach. I’m hoping they’ll place another order soon, so that I get to go on the ferry again and go to my favorite restaurant down there too.
