Drove down to the Island. Felt kind of tired all day. I’ve been feeling sleepy since the time change. I started on a small painting of a pelican, but didn’t finish. My friend and I walked around a lot. We found some oak trees where yellow crowned night herons nest. I think we saw about 20 herons if not more. There seem to be none in my tree, but still, I was happy to see the beautiful birds have returned, and I resolve to visit them often.
