Spent the day in Houston, mostly working on a commission that’s fun but quite elaborate. The peonies are on their last leg. They still smell really good, infusing the whole condo with their scent. But I might be allergic to it. Oh well.
Meanwhile a sweet little family checked into my AirBnb and promptly messaged me to say they love it and want to stay an extra night. I was happy about this. I think I might be getting better at the whole AirBnb thing! Or maybe conditions are improving just because the season is starting. Maybe it’ll be interesting and profitable all summer long. Here’s hoping!
Since my guests are staying, it turns out I’ll have to take a day trip to the Island tomorrow for my book signing, but that’s ok. I used to do little day trips down all the time and they had their own charm!
