This little painting is inspired by a horse I saw at Art Walk last night. I almost didn’t paint it because I almost didn’t paint today because sometimes I get busy or tired and today I was both. I gave a walking tour in the heat and it was fun but it left me sweaty and exhausted so I took a shower and a nap and thought that might be all I accomplish. But then a friend came by to pick up a commission piece and she wanted a little pencil line erased and I had to find my good eraser. In the process I stumbled upon a decent pencil, some watercolor brushes, paper, a watercolor case, the works. After my friend left, I sat down and painted this horse. It felt good and I’m happy I did it.
