Seashell

Today I made this seashell painting. It was a Sunday and I had a quiet day, but a nice one. I finished the fourth (I think) draft of my current manuscript, Breakaway Bridesmaid, and sent it to three beta readers. I walked to HEB and ate all sorts of yummy things. I took a long nap. A friend came by in the evening and bought a small heron painting. Overall, the day felt peaceful and happy.

I had a weird dream last night. I kind of liked it, though. I think in the dream I was Ana, maybe, and I was in NYC waiting for a man in a fancy hotel suite. He arrived, but there was a whole party, family, etc, not my cup of tea. It turned out we were engaged and they had all come to celebrate. A relative who was extravagant in an unpleasant way and also a tad too flirtatious with my fiancée kept going on and on about how she would buy us a house in Rhode Island to live in. I was adamant that I didn’t want the house and wouldn’t leave the city. My fiancée and I had a fight about it and then I woke up. Not sure why I remember all this or why it seemed so significant and interesting to me after I woke up.
