Today I painted this little giraffe. I got to go back to the Island, stopped by Hendley Market, replenished their book supply and visited with Amanda. In the evening I took the dog to the beach. Also, I finally allowed myself to get really sad about the flooding in the Hill Country and all the people who drowned, especially the children.
