Another hot day. I guess August is the time of year when I feel perpetually tired and it slows me down. But. I still have ambitious goals for this month. Obviously I am moving full speed ahead towards the publication of Breakaway Bridesmaid, and today I devoted myself to preparations for the two pre-release dinners I’m hosting for small groups of readers. I printed off more copies of the manuscript, worked on gathering information for some personalized pieces of art I’m making for them, even completed one of the small pieces of art.
It also occurred to me that this would be the perfect month to sell Alignment, one of my favorite paintings from the Distressed Layers series, pictured below. I will be posting more about this painting in the coming days.
And two more five star reviews for Blackbird Cottage found me today, which made me very happy.
I can’t wait to get my copy of the Breakaway Bridesmaid!
