This morning it rained, but then the day cleared up and it was warm enough to make walking around very enjoyable. The air was salty too. It’s the time of year when thick milky fogs descend over the Island in the mornings and evenings. I like this time of year quite a bit.
I’m still enjoying Matriarch, Tina Knowles’ memoir. She talked about more things I’ve had to research for my books, such as dancing at the Kontiki and the glow in the dark penises. But now I’ve reached the part of the book where Tina lives in Houston and Beyoncé is a very fussy baby. I’m enjoying this story a lot.
