And suddenly it’s March. Which obviously means that I need to start getting ready for Horse Week. Horse Week is the last week in March, when I celebrate the anniversary of Storms of Malhado. But obviously Horse Week takes all month to prepare. Today I sat down and made a plan for everything I want to accomplish this month. Then I drove to the Island, took a long walk for inspiration, and sat down to paint a watercolor of my friend O’Malley, the horse. I like how he’s turning out, but I am determined to work my way through this process slowly. Each time I look at this, I see new things, and obviously that’s very helpful.
