Things tend to bloom in Houston a little earlier than they do in Galveston, and so, this morning I passed some fragrant jasmine. Jasmine always makes me think of Betty and Cornelius, which seems appropriate right now as I’m getting ready to celebrate the 6th anniversary of Storms of Malhado. It’s been fun talking to some of my favorite readers, seeing which one of them will be able to come to the anniversary dinner. “Will we have some of Edna’s cooking?” one of them asked. I so love that question! And yes, of course we’ll be having Edna’s cooking, her baking too. Last year I made a chocolate cake and a banana cream pie for dessert. Not sure what I’ll make this year, but it will be scrumptious! There are a few tickets to this experience still available, please let me know if you’d like to join us.
