Today it was too hot to function. And yet, despite a considerable amount of time in the afternoon when I lazed around on my bed reading, I feel like I got a lot done. I made some progress on the big pink painting that’s on the easel. I took books to the bookstore on Postoffice Street. I went grocery shopping. But most importantly I met with an arborist who looked at my tree and gave me some advice. Predictably, the tree will be ok. She said the fallen branch is like hurting one’s pinky. But she did advise a clean cut for proper healing, and recommended a tree guy who can do it. I met with the tree guy too! See, I really did get a lot done one what seems like an insanely hot day.
