Today I finished the big pink poolside painting and I have to say I love it! I decided to call it Summer by the Pool. I think it’s a good combination of warm hues and cooler tones that make the viewer feel refreshed. The painting is currently available. It’s 30×40 inches acrylic on cradled wood panel and costs $2,500. I can’t wait to see whose home she ends up in.
Also today, despite the heat, I took the ferry over to Bolivar and drove to Crystal Beach to restock my books at the Big Store. The trip by ferry was very pretty, but I did get mighty tired and had to take a nap afterwards. Still, it’s been a good day, and one where I feel like I got stuff done. The only thing absolutely suffering in this heat is my step count. I have barely wanted to walk at all.
