I wasn’t sure it would be a good day, at least not early in the morning when it was cold and I hadn’t yet had coffee. But then I walked my dog past the little pen where the urban chickens live. I hadn’t seen them in days and I was worried. Even now, their pen was empty. But then I saw them. One by one, they climbed down the ladder out of the enclosure where they sleep. The chickens were alive and well. I knew then it would be a good day.
And a good day it was. I got to see my old lizard on Skype. I baked a lemon blueberry cake. I sold a few paintings in the moving sale. And my episode on Meet Houston’s Artists aired. You can watch it here! MoNique LeRoux did a fabulous job with it! I just love it!
