Today was the Zoom closing reception of my solo show, Boiling Point. Kind of bittersweet. I’ve gotten used to my paintings being in the beautiful Franklin Gallery, to refreshing the flowers, lighting candles, and hanging out with the dogs. Of course, my show will still be up and available for private viewings for another week before the paintings slowly start to make their way to their new homes. So I still have time to enjoy it, and so do you, should you want to come by. But on this rainy Sunday, I felt nostalgic, after the excitement of previews and parties, to contemplate taking all the art down. Though I do promise to visit often and hang out with Bobby and Nancy. They’re such loyal friends and companions!
